GAITHERSBURG, MD: In response to recent developments regarding the release of files related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Congressional candidate Chris Burnett released the following statement:


“Long before the Epstein Files Transparency Act was signed into law, I supported releasing the Epstein files in the interest of transparency and welcomed the legislation," said Burnett. "I hope the Department of Justice (DOJ) takes into account both security concerns and the victims' privacy."


Chris Burnett is a retired Marine Corps officer and national security lawyer running for

Congress in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.
