GAITHERSBURG — Chris Burnett has announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District (MD CD-6). A veteran who served for 22 years in the Marine Corps, he is a decorated officer and legal scholar.

He stated that he is running a grassroots campaign rooted in accountability, integrity, and selfless service, and pledges to fight for hardworking families, small business owners, law enforcement, veterans, strengthen our military and secure our borders.

Burnett stated that, unlike Rep. April McClain Delaney, he lives in Gaithersburg, sharing the district’s challenges.
